ABOUT MUSEO ATLANTICO

Museo Atlantico is a magnificent and inspiring museum that establishes a visual dialogue between art and nature.
The artwork will leave a long lasting impression in each visitor, while being harmless to the environment.
Designed to encourage marine life to flourish in the area, the installations include a 100 ton, 30 meters long wall and gateway, an underwater botanical sculpture garden and a single configuration of artworks which consists of over 200 life size-human figures in a human gyre.
All the objects are made to be absorbed by the ocean and later turned into living coral reefs, portraying human intervention as positive and encouraging.
